"My Experience
As I sit here and think about how much I have grown and changed simply because of a different way of seeing and listening to things around me and most importantly how I CHOOSE to react to these things I find myself at a loss for words. I mean how do you put a life changing experience into words so that people can truly understand the depth of it…
There was a time when my life was so full of hurt, disappointment, anger, resentment, depression, you name it, I felt it and it was just so chaotic…my life had turned into what I call a big loud noise that kept me from hearing, seeing, and feeling the important things.
I was lost…
As I searched for ways to get back to my true self, I realized that I had a great teacher within arm’s length. You see, Grandfather Lench is my father-in-law, and all though I kind of knew a little bit about what he teaches I was not ready to know.
I will always remember the day that I stood at his doorstep, I was at the lowest point in my life and I stood there in despair not knowing what the next minute would bring, oh and what a dark and scary place to be. When he answered the door, he said nothing, he looked into my eyes and simply reached his hand out to me as if to say “you are ready”, and that was the day that the journey back to myself started. Over time, I saw and heard so much and I learned that you don’t change by just standing still, you have to stand still and allow yourself to hear, see, breath, and feel the things around you in order to understand it and act from a place that very few people know that they have in them. I am different now, and although life hasn’t changed, I HAVE….
To experience it, is the only way that you could ever understand the depth of it…"
