I'm not good at writing reviews but have had such a great experience that I felt it necessary. I saw Sophie Ducrocq Archibald a couple of years after Cancer diagnosis and treatments. OMG, I wish I'd contacted her sooner! Here are some of the positive things that I feel about her:
Great listener. Some folks may consider this a "given" but, having dealt with cancer, I've been treated by enough medical personnel to recognize that far-away look in a clinician's eyes as I'm speaking to them. Ya don't get that with Sophie. She has a great way of zooming in on what's truly buggin' ya!
Comfortable, relaxed atmosphere and attitude.
Efficient organization for billing, appointments, and exchanging written information. Easy to contact and quick to respond.
Lotsa tools in the toolbox! Sophie has a focus on the mind-body connection but is very skilled in many different therapeutic methods.
I suppose that rating a therapist is a rather subjective undertaking. Personalities and temperaments have to match-up or at least not clash. For this grizzled, blunt, old-timer? Sophie has been AWESOME! Haha, well OK, Sophie definitely doesn't match up with me by being grizzled or an old-timer, but blunt? Yeah, she can do that when appropriate and it's appreciated. I never left that office without feeling better and having learned something that will help me throughout the rest of my life.
Whatever your reason for considering a visit to a therapist, don't hesitate to contact this one.
