"Raising a child is nothing short of a roller coaster. With a plethora of opinions amidst the vast world of research, topped with immense love, guilt, tears, giggles and exhaustion all wrapped in this beautiful present casually referred to as parenthood, one can feel a tad overwhelmed. Prior to having our daughter, we had not heard of a parent coach. We just always assumed parenting would come so natural, and that we would just follow our instincts and all would be well. In reality, it wasn’t quite as easy as we had expected. I suppose we knew it would be hard, but what we failed to realize is that this tiny human comes with their own special personality. And it was so different than ours. So how can we maneuver through the trials of raising a baby, toddler, preschooler, and so on, in the most beneficial way for our child? Everyday will bring challenges, but if we can come prepared with some basic tools, then perhaps we can tackle them with a little more grace and patience. Enter LaRosa Parent Coach. Kerrie has provided our family with tips for introducing a new sibling, preparing for school, potty training and so much more. These are all very big milestones for our sensitive, strong-willed daughter. She needs time to adjust to change. Whether it was through play, books, articles, emails or phone calls, Kerrie has been our mentor when we really were unsure which direction to take. Aside from her incredible tools, the gift that we cherish the most from Kerrie was her confidence in us as parents. She does not tell you how to raise your child. Kerrie simply listens and provides some fresh ideas that are specific to you and your families dynamic. Her encouragement and support is just what we needed at a time when we felt most vulnerable. Thank you Kerrie for all of your knowledge and guidance!"
